We have been working over the past 18 months to reduce our energy usage, and are pleased to say that the insulation program we have implemented has saved an average of 20% on electric usage in the shops, which is a monumental reduction.
In a bid to our extra to help, we are installing some extra insulation in shops where it was not previously possible, and also looking to move any non-LED bulbs over.
Additionally, older, more energy intensive hardware has been replaced, and we have switched to a fully digital display for our newspapers, cutting down on a vast amount of wasted paper each day.
Finally, we are asking our staff for any ideas they may have to assist with this, and look to implement any solutions which will help!
